About Barbra

My past professional experience includes principal of a private elementary school, director of two International English language institutes, Human Resource Manager, owner of an independent, boutique staffing company, and social media solopreneur (speaker, trainer, private instruction, and account management).

I have a degree in education, certification in Positive Psychology / Core Coaching from San Francisco State University, and participate continually in ongoing personal development programs.

It is said that our birthright is to feel whole and worthy and valuable— even when I, or perhaps you--feel you don’t deserve it.

My intention is to offer experiences, strategies and techniques to instill a positive “growthmindset,” as we reclaim our self-esteem and mindfully live a strong, valuable life. I encourage you to choose to learn. It would be a privilege to assist you on your journey.

I live in Los Gatos, California, and have 3 daughters and seven precious grandchildren.

Yes, I have traveled the road of anguish, confusion, grief, isolation and despair that comes with the experience of estrangement.
Yet that dark place led me to work with Joshua Coleman, Ph D, to my training in his philosophy, my certification as a Coach for Estranged Parents / Grandparents, and the development of groups, classes, and challenges to serve our community.

It is my now my privilege to join the Family Support Resources family, and continue to manage and support our “Moving Beyond Family Struggles” Facebook page.
